Guest 29 cab Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 can anyone help, when my lights are on and i brake, the rear indicators slowley light up (not flashing) and i can see the fog light button on the dash light up when this happens, also when the lights are off and i brake the indicators and brake lights flash alternate, like a police beacon! i have had a look at the rear fittings and cleaned them up aswell as the earth cable under the bonnet but no joy, does anyone know what this is or come accross it before??? cheers. Guest Gooner Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Hi there, i had the same trouble with mine a couple of yrs ago. i had to clean up all the contacts in the bulb holders and i think i actually wired another earth from the lights to the body. that was for a mk4 maybe the same prob with other? hope that helps, dom. Guest 29 cab Posted August 15, 2007 Share Posted August 15, 2007 Thanks for the advice guys, much apreciated. i looked at the light boards and they seemed fine but a cleaned them anyway, the connecters are also fine, i cleaned the earth cable up thats by the roof pump and also the earth cable under the bonnet by the hindge, is there any more earth cables anywhere as the problem is still there, many thanks, Dave.
