  1. Vincygav, many thanks for your reply, the firing order is correct and so is the new crankcase sensor, I have had fuel pump out of tank and tested it blown fuel line out and got fuel to the cfi but it doesn’t seem to be holding pressure, and only delivers fuel when cranked, do you know if this is correct and what kind of pressure I should have , as I’m now thinking bad fuel pump maybe or does the ecu control this ?
  2. Can ANYONE please help with this none start problem ? Doesn’t have an obd port so it’s old school diagnostic, any retired ford engineers out there that can help
  3. Hi all, I am trying to bring back to life a 1993 escort dash, 1.4 cvh. it’s been in dry storage for 17yrs, I’ve put new battery on , new plugs, ht leads, coil pack , ignition module , crankcase sensor, cfi injector , throttle sensor ,hydrolics. Fresh fuel, fuel filter, oil filter and oil, checked all wires and all seems fine, got compression, air, fuel and spark, but just will not start. if I unplug the cfi injector it will start on easy start and run in a fashion but the minute I plug back in it won’t start. Fuel is getting to the injector. could this now be an electrical fault ie the ecu ??. Can anyone help please thanks Tony
