Please help I have a ford escort convertible 1996 1.6 16v zetec engine and I have a problem when revving, The engine slows down when revving up but idles ok and starts fine just when I press the accelerator pedal engine slows. sparks fine new plugs, new electric fuel pump in tank and petrol.
Had the Escort for seven years 63000 on clock and been stored in garage for seven years done about 50 miles since i purchased was fine last time i started the car up about three months ago.
please help
