  1. There is a cable that runs from the gearbox differential to behind the dash that mechanically turns the speedometer. There are numerous causes so would start by removing the speedometer and see if the cable turns when you drive. The cable is a tight fit to the cluster so it's awkward unfortunately.
  2. My MK5 seems to have a battery drain of around 0.5 amps per hour and I have found removing fuse 21 stops the drain. I also hear 2 relays click when I remove or insert the fuse. One relay for the interior lighting which is R17 on the fusebox I believe and another relay which is behind the drivers side heater vent away from the fusebox. It's a genuine green Ford relay. Can't seem to see what circuit it powers, does anyone know? Thanks
  3. Nice. I got a nice mohair roof for mine with zero rips a couple of months ago and come with a cover for £60 locally so they are around. Keep looking.
