Pulled my interior out of hiding few days ago to give me some motivation. Time to crack on i guess. Its gotta be on the road for April ish. And itl use less fuel than our focus st 21mpg

Hi guys, no posts for a while as ive got twin baby girls lol
Problem I've got is before I put my car away in my garage I changed the clutch quadrant for a new one and a new cable, and due to problems fitting the cable I just left it. I know I have washers and clips in the footwell and were they go I can't remember lol.
So has anyone got a diagram of the clutch/brake peddles etc? I might have to pull the rod out of both just to fit the cable too I think 😐

same engine as my mk4 IV
it can be tuned as in air filter exhaust and cam.... and a rare superchip but its pointless its cheaper to change the engine etc
im sure everyone will agree

Well not much happened since I received my seats, the day I had them back I was picking up keys for a house we bought
so it was a awesome day for me, our twin (identical) baby girls are 10mnths old next sat and the weather is getting nice so time to get my car from the garage it is in two counties away and bring it here to our spacious garden and get some work done, it prob sadly won't still be on the road till next year but the wait is def worth it, can't wait to see people slow down and eye it up as they drive up/down the busy A497 in front of our house -

I did have some myself with brand new tyres and nuts all ready to go on but i sold em partly due to needing a twin pram costing £1500
and ive changed my mind about wheel choice although i still love em -
Well no update for a while as i havnt done much apart from sticking some sound deading (rattlemat) down, too much work and too many hospital appointments but on a plus side my 2 x Baby girls
entered my life yesterday so im over the moon 
the only good news i need now is Simon (Mondo) telling me he has my door cards finished so i can pick up all my interior 
and then when i have the time ill get cracking on .

Got a toad ai606 on mine but changed the siren for a brand new one as the battery back up in it had failed due to constant car batt problems
also mines garaged with ridiculous locks on the door lol -

Too posh for our cars, im not gonna want to sit on them, and i was thinking about putting twin isofix points in the back but ill be scared of scratching them i think the dogs and twins when they are here are banned out of my car lol
In the process of looking for a red vxr zaf for the wife as soon as ive bought one for her i can crack on with mine and she will leave me alone over it lol

were have you put the heater control dials? or does it just cover it? and just sold my escort cos wheels n tyres as im going for similar wheels but silver/gold, summat a bit different -

green could be for turbo model ? have you got a haynes manual? it should tell you in there theres a link on here for a pdf copy - go to downloads and then service manual

great job si, dont think ill want to sit in them let alone put the twins in the back when they arrive... and as for my dogs theres no chance they are going in my car ever again lol this has give me some motivation to do a bit now especially as ive finished the nursery -
Mine used to do exactly the same even with a new starter, battery and earth strap/cable. I havnt started it for a while but since i have changed all main power cables and connectors and i will poss put a transit connect starter on for safe measure and some heat sheild

Id agree with john def check the battery tray, possibly even remove the dash and check under were the bat tray is but inside the car as you might not see much under the bat itself.
On mine the water leak was the heater matrix under the dash cheap to buy but a pain in the arse to fit

Thought the blue se's had some sort of writing/numbers written on under the crash bar foam/pad ? as well as the obvious ski rack fixing holes

mine could be worth a bit in the future being a J plate mk4 i suppose thats if i ever got it back to the original grey etc..... not much chance of that tho especially when i get my newly retrimmed interior back and pull my finger out and get it sprayed etc i wont want it going grey like me haha

Looking more like a 2 year project
theres always summat that stops me in my tracks. Although the new hurdle ive got is identical twins due June 
so all spare funds are being saved up to buy stuff for them etc dont need much really apart from a respray still, some more sound deadening, and front/back door rubbers, and obv the main thing to go and pick up my seats from Mondo Its def not mission aborted yet! lol especially as they reckon we might have a good bit of sun this year

I would of loved to have gone on this, but my car is still in garage, havnt had my seats back from Mondo
and ive got identical twins due june so need all the spare cash for prams/seats etc etc lol
