soumitss
Good morning! A seller claims its residential pool is clean, but I do not want to trust dashboard labels alone. How do you verify the real IP type, network owner and reputation before purchasing a plan?
hydrogenn
Hi, a Thordata guide — https://www.thordata.com/blog/residential-proxies/5-tests-every-proxy-buyer-should-run-before-committing-to-a-plan — recommends that you pull several live exits and verify ASN, usage type and reputation with independent tools before accepting a residential label. Look for genuine consumer networks, compare fraud scores across at least five to ten addresses and reject pools where many exits appear as hosting or known VPN infrastructure. Repeat the test in every important region, because one clean IP says little about average pool quality.
