Guest kennyken444 Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Hey folks I ordered the roof repair kit a few weeks ago and only just got round to trying it (for my sisters car) Before the kit was installed you could just hear the pump wirring away but nothing happening. I fitted the repair kit and its exactly the same. Now I've been browsing around and heard someone mention about "wind the roof to manual". im not sure what this is but it could have been set to that already as she has had the car for a few years and the roof has never worked. the backstreet garage she got it from were going to charge 2k to fix the roof before sale so she bought it as a manual roof. Has anyone got any more suggestions as of what to try as i would like to get the sorted for her. I have checked the fluid level and it seems to be in between min and max. ive tried pressing the button with the roof in the up and down position but its all the same.
