  1. You might be able to get the bottom hose to reach the bottom of the breather & the hose from the top of the airbox to reach the iscv.
  2. Yes they did. 1 for the iscv on the inlet manifold & 1 for the iscv on the inner wing.
  3. I tighten the hub nut to 180 Nm. Start at 150Nm & make sure you can still spin the drum then tighten to 180Nm.
  4. Yes Mate. You might be able to clean it out with petrol or brake cleaner. It sounds like the valve is sticking.
  5. I have got a Magnex stainless 4 branch & full two system on my 'H' plate MK4 EFi cab. It does sound lovely & still sets off the odd car alarm when i'm over 4000rpm.
  6. It is quite an easy job to change the idle speed control valve. disconnect 1 pipe & disconnect 1 multiplug then undo 4 torx screws. Make sure the paper gasket is not split or torn. The total time should be about 15 mins & that is with a tea break/ fag break.
  7. Is yours a MK4 or MK5 Escort
  8. Like the rims, clean looking to go with your white cab
  9. I've got a set on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=018
  10. If you dont mind me asking but how much would you pay for a pair of rear lights with LED bulbs?

    Oil Leaks

Rear Crankshaft oil seal is quite common & camshaft oil seals often develop leaks
  12. It will have to be a strip down & rebuild to replace the bearings on either the diff or input shaft. Whereabouts are you? If your near me I could come & have a look.
  13. It could be the diff bearings or input shaft bearing
  14. The doors are the same on MK3 & MK4
  15. Any garage can adjust the co, not just fords
  16. There is a co2 pontimeter adjuster on the inner wing by the battery with 2 wires. It will need to go to a garage with a gas machine to adjust.
  17. The only CVH Engine that got put in the MK5's was a 1.4 then the 1.6 engine was a baby zetec The red thing to the right is an alarm, possibly a scorpion alarm unit
  18. There is a allen nut at the front of the gearbox on the main casing & next to the fifth gear housing. You will need a 6mm or 7mm allen key & as eegsy said
  19. Whereabouts in east sussex are you. I could do them before I move to norfolk.
  20. There is a set on ebay at the moment. They are for a MK4 Escort
  21. Whereabouts in essex are you mate. I could come round over the weekend to help you out.
  22. I'm a MOT tester & as long as the readings on the brake rollers dont show that there is a problem with the abs, it shouldn't be a fail.
  23. All MK3 & MK4 Escorts had the flat bolt on battery leads as standard, so your leads must have been changed in the life of your cabby
  24. I've got the heavy duty battery 093 which isn't the round pole in my MK4 whichis the next battery up from standard, if this helps
