  2. hi mandy i might pop down i'm not sure on work yet but it'll be quicker for me to go straight to southend.
  3. right then i have a mk4 with 2.0ltr zetec conversion and i'm running mk4 efi escort loom and ecu and it works fine and was just a straight swap, you can put mondeo ecu in but do need key and transponder reciever but you can tape these up under dash or you can buy very early mondeo which has no pats or buy aftermarket ecu. if you use the mondeo loom it'll need splicing into you loom. if you need anymore info just ask i've looked at all the option fot this conversion
  4. yes fella mine read wrong that way to but changed it and all was well again
  5. there looking good mate keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming.
  6. hi fella im running 2-0ltr zetec in my mk4 and if you need any info just ask.
  7. hi i'm sure i have one in the garage but can't get there till friday. if this is any help to ya your welcome to it for the postage and a pint. ian
  8. mine done the same it'll be the teeth either take it out and get someone to weld it up and re-cut some new teeth (thats what i done) or buy one from ebay/breakers and replace it.
  9. well what can i say i have just returned from avrils late summer party and what a great day fantastic company great hosts brilliant weather shame there wasn't more people you missed a good club get together special thanks to avril and to russel how made everyone feel welcome. see you all soon
  10. and i'm sorry to say with that type of attitude you won't get much help either
  11. i have mine mounted at the bottom where it normally is but you do need a smaller belt i have the zetec alternator and i'll look tomorrow and find you the belt size i use or you can place it into place then tie a piece of string around all 3 pullys and then measure the lengh of string and this will give you your belt size. you might also need to alter your wiring theres still only 2 connections but with different fitments on. i also just use the 3 pullys (crankshaft/waterpump and alternator)
  12. have a great day people i'm gutted i can't make it anyway you won't need your brolly the sun will shine for you all have fun......
  13. Cannot wait, list going so far Steve C + 1 Paul + 1 badger +2/3 McVicar +1 Ady Rach
  14. right then, let get this straight if your putting a zetec in there is no dizzy cap you'll need an ecu to get ignition and there are no timing adustments on the zetec the whole system runs of the ecu with the crank sensor and a trottle postion sensor (which i belive you can buy to fit twin carbs).
  15. it looks great lee well worth the wait lol
  16. yes fella if the car is running undertemp it will run rich as the ecu adjusts the mixture as and when it warms up and the performance/running will only be right at the optiman running temp
  17. come on people lets support avril and the east anglian late summer meet i'll be there and have signed up but won't be camping and i should have the mrs and at least one son with me but it should be fun..
