When I first joined here in 2006 there was only a handful of mk3's in the club, but in the last six months the number have steadily increased some of them are being restored to their former glory, others like mine are being lovingly cared for and enjoyed, this is really good as these cabs are becoming rare now and also for me they are part of the British automotive heritage. SO IF YOU HAVE A MK3 ENJOY IT, LOVE IT AND WHATEVER YOU DO NEVER BREAK HER UP.

Mine have none of these things, just get in and drive.

This question is very common with new cab owners, Paul is correct, when pressed it stops the rear windows being opened from the rear seats.

This is a common problem with these cars my mk 3 number plate lights used to flash when i use the indicators, it was an earth problem.

Always feel good to see people looking after these cabs, good job there mate. Too many people breaking them up even when they're still good.

At first I thought I will not get involved in this, but I think you provoked the angry reaction by calling the club hopeless especially coming from someone with only 16 posts. It seemed that the question was misunderstood so no harm in asking again in a civilised manner, what I take as positive from this that even after your little burst people still tried to come up with an explanation and I loved the way people reacted to defend the club. So hope you fix your widows mate and stick around as this is a good place to be if you own a cabbie.
