    It is steep but there is a lot of work involved mate, he is litraly taking half the car apart and rebuilding it, plus paint !!! Its all Man-Hours I guess, always try Sir.Brutus of Winsford !!! :icon_salut_gb:

    What Mk Cab do you have Pete ??? If you have a Mk5 then this sounds about right as on high spec models, the dials are BACK-LIT GREEN and FRONT LIT ORANGE, when you put LOCKWOODS on they some times block the light for the back light so all you get is front light, its simple to change the filter to a different colour !!! I put WHITE LED's behind mine and changed the Front light filter to RED, it was a very pleasing effect !!!

    First off, what Mk cab do you have ??? Second, be VERY carful as the rear mechinisms in a Mk5/6 are different to the Tin-top !!!

    It the same as the Tin-Top Saloon PIP, that has tin across the back behind the seats but due to it not having a roof that folds down into it, they added and extra shelf like a parcel shelf in the hatch back Tin-Top and put the rear speakers in it !!!

    My Mk6 and my Mk5a didn't have central locking on the bootlid mate, its independent from the system, thats why you use the key, it is possible to fit a solinoid and switch to the center console to 'POP' the lid and save using the key all the time !!! I have one already, I took it from a Mk5b tin-top and i'll be fitting it soon, i'll put a guide up !!!

    I had a similar problem on my Mk5a, I could only lock and un-lock the car from the passenger side, 'MY' problem was down to the lock sensor around the barrel !!!

    Hi Peeps !!! :big_wave: Went to Eggsy's on Monday to catch-up and give him a hand with his new instal, he wanted to put some 10" speakers in the metal parcel shelf so naturaly, out came the Jig-Saw lol !!! I don't need to do this to mine as the previous owner did it for me !!!

    Cheers mate, looks 100 times better that at 16:00 when I last saw it, glad the silver is gone !!! Heres some pics of the rear Foglight that I wired up today, its a clear Lexus style unit that I got from my mates shop for a fiver and I just gave it a light coat of tint spray to match the other lights, I fitted a 360'o LED bulb too so its nice and bright !!! Looks better every day, only a couple of touches left to go and were done !!!
