Been after a few bits for bigjon and bobs cabbys :>) and after trawling through the facebook pages and ebay and the autojumble stalls with either being outbid or let down we decided to look for a cabby to get some spare parts now we no the cars are creeping up in prices now and I have had the chance of 2 or three now which I didn't wanna pay the asking prices for :>( jon called me and told me he had found one on ebay and placed his bid and here it is we turned up to collect it after jon had spoken to the owner. it has just passed its mot and was still insured so brave jon drove it home I followed him all the way and it had that nice xr3i raspy sound shame it has so many bad bits on the body work and the paintwork has been done in satin black

i feel your pain :>( second hand cradle is your only choice im afraid I soaked the nuts and jubilee clips for days on mine before it would move keep us updated regards ollie

hi cathy nice to see the posts still get good replys after all this time dwaynes cabby has been through lots of changes since this post lol good idea on the repair patch too :>) if you have a new roof fitted ask the fitter to give you the material that they cut out to fit the rear window regards ollie

With them miles and condition its well worth keeping the original spec they seem to be going up in value now for the good ones be good to have it on the club stand for all to see and appreciate it :>)

just a little reminder to members attending please get to the club stand nice and early so we can set up the gazebo and banners and of course to avoid the traffic getting in you may have noticed that that again this year they are only letting vehicles in registered before 31/12/1990 it wasn't a problem for our later model cabbys last year so should be ok again :>) if every one turns up we will have 9 cabriolets on the club stand :>) any problems don't hesitate to contact me on 07966531588 regards Ollie ps I will have the kettle and coffee n tea etc bring your own cups please

hard to say glenn I don't think there will be many carbed models left as most were early A n B registered and we do not see to many at shows etc regards ollie
