Hmm might be the ignition switch then as I was testing it with the ignition on and cranking.

Have had the key in and on getting nothing been looking for broken/melted/chewed wires but nothing seems out of place.

Well it's been off the road for ages and I'm at a loss now and getting tired of it. I have a working coil tested it on the car and it produces a spark but the loom doesn't seem to be powering the coil much (getting 6v) the alarm is fitted and doesn't control any part of the ignition coil so thats out of the question so I am stuck with no car and it's getting darker and colder and I am so close to quitting now.

Well not driven cab for 2 weeks now as the alarm has gone mental and requires a new box fitted just waiting to order one.

Nope luckily just melted the plastic plug with the wires in it and fell out it's ok now I hope can't be arsed to work on it during the cold months ahead.

Alternator should be on its way will fit it as soon as I can and the heat shield hasn't done anything for the started getting hot

Agree with the RS2000 lump nice power no lag , A turbo is a pain in the arse to be messing with, Wheels look nice, the hood looks like it needs the cable redoing on the side as its popped out from the runner. And welcome to the site.
