    Losing it a little bit I just don't know why its not going the car has power it's not slow but it could still be faster if the turbo did it's job properly I will get it off again and strip it right down and check the whole thing out so need to get some gaskets and have a poke about see if anything is broken or worn out, Car is definitely wearing me out but must go on with it can't give up

    I give up Still no boost just sits on 0 on vacuum gauge never gets into the boost just about had enough of it now

    Right took it all off easier that way and my actuator bracket is bent I think as the rod doesn't line up well with the wastegate arm Will try and heat it up and bend it back into a better position.

    Preload I assume how much pressure is holding the flap closed ? And half a hole I would think is how far the pin for wastegate is past the hole for it on the actuator so its got a bit of force holding it closed ? I'm new to turbos lol :D What way does the flap need to be if I'm under the car looking up at it to the left or to the right as I forgot which way is closed and which is open

    Right tested it with the AMAL valve bypassed and still no boost, so gonna wind the actuator right in now

    Right my car seems to have no boost the reading on the boost gauge never goes past the 0 in to boost and I have never heard the dump valve go off so I assume there is no boost, I know the wastegate can move freely and the flap is still in there and I have a new actuator, and there are no leaks from any pipes. I can spin the turbo by hand and it's ok no play, So I am lost to why there is none I don't want to wind the actuator in anymore Stupid crap cab
