    Mk3 rear lights now on And got my 2 fuel ECU's to try out hope they are the cure to my problem

    I have checked the window and it has a complete circuit no broken lines or stuff just need to see if any power is coming up to the connections to it.

    So the screen isn't clearing but the switch is working so I need to see if the window is making a complete circuit, sod it

    Right sorted it all out today moved the fuel pump wire to it proper location and the switch now works how it should just need a steamed up rear window to see if it's working fully but it should be Cheers for all the help I appreciate it.

    Right got 2 fuel ECU's on their way to me now always handy to have I suppose lol and will need to rewire my fuel pump after someone was lazy with the loom

    Yeah think it might have been a rush job whoever did the loom for it

    Think I should get another loom made for mine in the future don't trust this one much

    found the problem some one has decide that the live feed for the fuel pump should come off the back off that switch idiots that's why it dies when you put it on now gotta see where the wire goes

    Yeah but the problem might be the fuel ECU as it is the same weather it is plugged in or not, But the lovely people at paypal decided to give me some grief so just waiting for them to sort thier act out then I can get my part I won

    Right so some sort of wiring fault then even with the screen disconnected as it acctually killed the engine had to turn it off didn't fancy a fire

    Right seeing as it has been wet and making sure my battery doesn't go flat I started my cab up and it steams up, So go to switch on the rear screen heater and it trys to kill the engine so something is wrong with it but don't know where to start with it.

    Blue hood looks nice wouldn't mind one on mine and straight through the Mot got a good cab there then A lovely looking cab all round very nice mate

    At least with a Mk4 dash you will have a better chance of it having no cracks in it plus it will suit the front end of the cab with its Mk4'ness Won't be long and it will be on the road and be coming to some shows I hope

    Got bored whilst waiting for fuel ECU to get to me so started to knock down the rusty bits lucky I don't have that many and the ones that are there are just surface rust and not made massive holes in it
