will the starter motor from an mfi engine work on an efi? thanx in advance!

hi guys merry christmas i have a slight prob with my cab it has been getting hard to start lately, i turn the key, ignition lights up but i turn it one more and nothing no starter turning, until today i tried it a couple of times then it worked, but now it will not turn over at all, so my question is do you think the starter switch is faulty and should i change the ignition relay at the same time, can i bodge it to test my theory.I have checked the terminals of the switch and im not getting a

I've got a few problems with my new Mk6 (I think it's Mk6... 1997 model). Could anyone help me? I'm totally clueless about cars really, this is my first one I've had to do work to, I had a Mondeo before for a few months.   1. A few years ago a little sh*t removed all the bolts on the rubber trim round the back of the hood. Any hints on where to get replacements to I can fix the seal back on again?   2.
