Hi I had leather front seats in my early Mk5 and only found out they wouldn't fit my later Mk5 Si when I came to swap them prior to selling the older car on eBay.   The later car has wider seat frames and the floor looks quite different.   Does anyone know if leather seats from ANOTHER MAKE (sorry) of car would fit a late Mk5???   Only asking as black leather Mk5b seats seem hard to come by.   Cheers Ian

hi all just up graded my breaks to rs turbo with the abs still in place the discs and pads are new the problem is the peddle seems spongy ive bled them 3 times and its still the same has anybody got any idias or is this normal wit the abs still on . many thanks grant

Hi all, not so much of a problem but just an annoying one. As standard you have to have the ignition on but the engine off to put the roof up and down. Now, is it possible to re-wire it so you can have the engine running (but obviously not moving) and operate the roof? I find it a pain in the ass having to turn the engine off if you stop at a set of lights etc... to put the roof down. Anybody already done this?
