Hi I've just replaced a second pair of these on my Mk5b Si. Needed after less than 10,000 miles.   The symptoms were interesting- 1. power gently round a large roundabout, lift off and the car turns in to the right 2. unable to set tracking so it feels right 3. front tyres wearing out in 3000 miles 4. tramlining, vague steering   Suggestion- only use Ford or Quinton Hazell branded replacements (never had any problems on my Mk5a XR3i).   Who was it who said "Rubber is not an engineeri

argh!!!!!!!!! why me again. well me distribuiter is noisy, and there is a loud rattle from some where when driving and sounds like a missfire or exhaust blowing. does not affect the performanc or running of the car. has got me lost to what is going on
