Guest El87cabi
You'll probably need to change bushes too, i'm just in the process of doing my sus and rear bushes which koni's did you get? i assume you've raised the car to a sensible height like 25-35mm, cabi's with 60mm slam are lethal in the wet
Guest El87cabi
1 old trick to track the rear of the escort is when you have it tracked get them to check the rear and if it's out add an extra washer onto the tie bar to at the stub axle, it's not much but if you've done the bushes and your hub bearings are tightened right it may help
Guest avul
El87cabi is right about putting in extra washer's, when you lower the rear end you'll need to add to the front of the tye bar in front of the stub axle, to save taking it all apart if you get some new bush washers & cut a slot out of it the size of the tye bar, all you need to do is loosen the nut on the tye bar push the rear lower arm back & slot in the washer, tighten the nut back up & recheck the tracking or if you can get adjustable rear tye arms which is what i'v got for mine thats the best way & can be adjusted a little easier & better. but also if a coil has been cut out that can do no favours for the handling. hope this helps regards mark ps i have put something up before but not been on for a while so not sure where it will be, keep us posted. Guest avul
forget to say when i put the extra washers in mine before the adjustable rear tye bars on a 35mm drop i had to put two washers on the n/s & three washers on the o/s & thats why there not quite as good as the adjustable but will still do the job good enough
