Guest Per_Norway
Antoher annoying issue with my '88 1.6 cab.. the other day, the rev counter got erratic, combined with the battery indicator, which first started golwing faintly, and now lighting up fully.. I think the temperaure gauge is also affected when this happens.. First thing i did was to change the brushes in the alternator, this fixed it for a while, and now it's a bit on and off.. I suppose it's a wiring problem, i measured the voltage at the battery at 2000 rpm to be 13.9V.. If anyone have encountered this problem and know where to look for faults, please shout.. Guest Per_Norway
haha! this was easyer than expected, the fuse for brake lights were blown, changed it, all is fine! whether its by design or by bad wiring(ground points) is uncertain, problem solved..
