Guest xxnamxx Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 I have a ford escort mk5 1992 1.4 cabby and trying to setup new cd player ive tested wires n all but no power to unit the red wire has no power going thru it does anyone know wer all the fuses are for the red wire please ps it is the wire that im guessing is meant to have constant power because the yellow wire has power but only on ignition turn. thanks reply asap. Guest xxnamxx Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 The Fuse Box is to the right and below the Steering Wheel behind a Plastic Cover that pops off !!! thing is that ive looked at the pictures and none show any to the head unit area ive checked all fuses and are all ok. any more? i found 3 fuses behind some plastic to the right of the fuse box changed and still nothing. ive checked the battery fuses look all ok and tested still nothing. lol really getting annoying hehe. Ok found problem thing is it worked a few weeks ago and never touched the fuse box i found a slot tht was .meant to ave a fuse and it was missing put one in n it worked thanks. anyway for replying.
