Guest michaelw Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 Hi, as topic says, i have some problems with my ignition. The spark plugs are not working properly. I bought new spark plugs a few days ago, the car worked properly a cuple days, until it suddenly started to go on 2 cilynders! when i put the ignition cabels on, the sparkplugs doesnt give the spark they are suposed to give, but when i only put them halfway on they give theyr spark! HT leads is the most likely problem. £8 from halfords for a new set I have chacked it now, the cap is not dizzy or anything, but i did se one thing that i dont think is normal, it was some kind of a thin layer in the disturbiator cap, i cleaned this away but nothing was different. I have also changed the HT Leads, and i found out the hard way that the old ones was stil good as new! nothing was changed, and the car dident start :help: :help: :help: :help: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I looked at that, but i couldent fix anything there, all was as normal there... The wierd thing is that the car worked properly, untill it sudenly started to go in to cilynders..
