Guest steelcabby
are you going for the EFI or the MFI rs turbo convertion??? if MFI then i would change the whole loom from the drivers door forward as its quick to do. and if EFI i thing its the ecu and afew wires in the bay you need to hook up for various seonsors etc. not 100%. there are people on here who could give you the deffo on stuff. madfordit79
Hello m8, when I did my rs turbo conversion first time round I hunted around for a fairly good running but cheapy no tax or mot escort rst and just swapped every thing over, so you can see where bits come from and where they go, might be dearer this way but I found a lot easier than getting bits and bobs and you can sell off all the bits you don’t want. And yeah I took out the dash out unplugged every thing in the bay and behind dash then just snipped through the loom that runs to the rear of the car on drivers side then pulled the loom out and connected it all back up. Might be a little help to ya But im not sure if you could just get a fiesta turbo lump and put it straight in and just swop the ecu's over since thier both efi???? Guest steelcabby
like mad says, probably best to buy a rotten car. i payed 200 pounds for my rs turbo and stripped everything off it, the body was knackered, it had been sat in somebodies garden for over a year. the gearbox and turbo were recently changed and the engine was a gem. i also had the front brakes off it as they are straight swap too. i sold what was left and made about 100 pounds profit plus the full convertion i had in me car
