Guest no2lurch
what exhaust do s2 rs turbos have as standard? what back box do they have and what bore is the system? reson i ask is cos i want a back box which looks a bit meatier than my standard mk4 xr3i pipe. will a rst back box bolt straight on, and will it cause any problems with back pressure etc? Guest tom
the standard S2 RST is a 2 1/4 inch bore throughout - the std XR3i exhaust is a 2" bore. Backbox won't be a straight fit. and tbh, you won't see any power gain. Sure someone will disagree, but thats my basic understanding.

Guest no2lurch
he reason i want the rst back box is oly for show. i want it to look more meaty, and not the pea shooter thats on there now. i am not looking for performance gains, i got the zetec engine in the front for that. lol. i presume i just need to get a sleeve made up so it will fit on? Guest steelcabby
i take it you are using the zetec downpipe with the cat on?? why don't you have the whole system up to the cat and get it reduced there? or you could get the whole s2 system that bends up to the manifold and get the flange welded to it to meet the zetec one. your benifit from better flow that way too.
