Guest Scandalicious Posted November 29, 2007 Share Posted November 29, 2007 Problem after problem!! Everytime i use my indicators the full beam comes on.. I can't drive it at the moment - gutted!! Also the yellow airbag light keeps falshing on and off.. Does anyone have any idea what the problems could be and how to solve it (preferbly without taking it to the garage!!) :help: Cheers in advance! Guest matt-the-dj Posted November 29, 2007 Share Posted November 29, 2007 first fault sounds like the indicator stalk, second fault, could you count the flashes of the of the light, my guess will be four, which is the seatbelt pre-tensioners if im right check the plugs under the seat as they get kicked and come apart. Escort Cabriolet Club Posted November 29, 2007 Share Posted November 29, 2007 Your stalk might be knackerd mate but just check your plastic cowel around the steering wheel is on straight as they can sometimes rub, if they are knackerd then a new set are a 5 min job to replace, very easy, you will find them in every scrapyard too, if they don't have a set, your in the bakery next door lol !!! If i hold the stalk in a certain way when i indicate it doesn't happen - but at last all of my niggly bits will be fixed this winter!!! As charlzy says there will be some in a scrapyard somewhere!!!
