[MK4 SE500 cabriolet build number?]

I’ve recently bought a MK4 XR3i S500 all blue cabriolet.

i believe only 500 where made but how do I find out my build number I.e number 1 of 500? Is it within the chassis number?

Also is there a register for these cars?

Did you ever get this sorted? My roof also doesn’t work. The relays click but no power to the pump conector.

[EFI MK4 SE all blue non start]

Hi all I’m new on her as I’ve just bought as MK4 SE all blue with the EFI engine. It hasn’t been ran for about 2 years & not been on the road in 10!

ive fitted a new fuel pump as the old one had seized. New battery I have good spark & engine turns over well. It coughs as if it wants to start & sometimes runs on I think 1 cylinder.

any ideas?
