followed the advice on Tutorials as well to 'earth' the blue wire out of the switch, but that didn't work either!!!

Hi guys, some help please! I have a 96 P 1.6 Mk6 Cabriolet. Trying to bypass so the roof works with engine running. BUT, I only have 1 relay behind the kick panel on drivers side, which is nothing to do with roof. There are 3 in the boot by the pump, but none have the colour of wires mentioned in other posts! If I pull all 3 out in turn, the roof doesnt work at all. Any ideas?
