Guest Mk4 Kenilworth Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 I'm replacing the valve gear in my MK4 Escort because i didn't know about the 2500rpm running in bollocks! Anywa the valve stem seal i've been sent by Burtons are only 11mm high and dont fit because they rest on the guide not the head, leaving an 8mm gap. The ones i took off are 19mm high and do fit. Burtons say they sent me std seals, you can see where this is going. Can anyone with a spare seal liying around tell me what the correct hight is?
