Guest Sammyd176 Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 Hi all. I currently have a Mk7 1997 Escort Carbiolet Ghia in black. It is a 1.8 with full leather interior. Bought 2 years ago. It has full service history until it came to me. My partner is a mechanic. It has had everything you can imagine since I bought it. It stands at 145,000 miles - not that you would know. It has taken me from Derby to Nottingham and back most days. I am looking to sell, as I have now got a new car. No idea what it's worth! Can't find any to compare it too. Ian71 Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 Not a classic car realy,80,s cars seem to be be the cars people want.My advice is if you have the room sorn it for 6 months and use it for the summer. If you sell it you not get alot for it,look on ebay or other sites, you will see they sell for £100 up to £1500 max ,unless they are dealers cars sold with warranty. Guest vinbon Posted December 31, 2015 Share Posted December 31, 2015 I too have a mk7 with a zetec engine.There seems to be very varied opinions on the value with some people arguing if the car exists.Its the combination that seems rare is.Ghia spec,zetec engine and cabriolet.
