Guest B3NN10N Posted January 24, 2013 Share Posted January 24, 2013 Hi folks, I have recently been stung by a £150/£75 fine from a private parking company because I was delayed by 26ish minutes on a FREE 2 HOUR MAXIMUM STAY Car park in Whitchurch, Shropshire. Anyone that knows Whitchurch will know it’s a dying town and this behaviour merely dispels shoppers from the town. I have done extensive research and this company 'Civil Enforcement Ltd' are operatinghundreds of these car parks across Englandand Wales. It is an absolute disgrace and I have set up a petition which I encourage you to sign and share as these people are simply profiting from the motorist and these feesare neither justifiable nor reasonable. I am adamant to share my thoughts on this company and will spend all my spare time exposing them. Further to this, no wonder the UK is debt ridden when these companies accumulate spiralling debts and sell these debts to bailiffs. It is an absolute disgrace and this behaviour can be simply stopped by no longer allowing the DVLA to sell our information to these fraudulent profit mongering companies!
