Guest duke1986
Hi Does anyone know the part numbers for an exhaust for a mk4 ghia convertable,1986, 1.6, carb model. Been trying to get one from my local suppliers, he says he can get them but not too sure if it is right as it is the part number for a 1.6 hatchback? thanks Tim

Guest El87cabi
You can tell by the downpipe dude. 1600's be it carb or mfi were fitted with a short section downpipe with no midbox, efi's had a longer downpipe with the midbox attached to it aswell as a differently angled manifold with heat shield. If you are looking for the exhaust system from the downpipe back just pop to your local ford with ur chassis number and they should be able to not only give you a part number but they will show u a picture so you can be sure. In short, the exhaust system you need does not have midbox under the engine. Hope that helps, el
