When i try to start my Mk3 XR3i cabby, the engine turns over at about one revolution every two seconds and the rev counter goes up and down in time with the engine turnover speed. And yep the car is in Neutral. One other weird thing is that sometimes the whole car does one shake when i turn the ignition on and the fuel pump primes, sometimes.
