The programme pits two teams of mechanics against each other to take apart a car that is beyond repair, sell the parts and see who can make the most money. As part of the new series we're featuring a MK IV Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet. For the beginning of the episode we’re looking to film a 'pristine version' of an MK IV Cabriolet. This will act as stock footage to set up the story for the rest of the programme. As such we need an Escort to film with that is in good condition (possibly having undergone a resto). We’re looking to film at a location in Surrey at some point over the next two days - date TBC. If you have such a vehicle and want to have it featured on TV please email me: matt@attaboytv.com with your availability over the next two weeks. Preferably if you could send some pics of your car it would be appreciated. We would require you and your car for the one day and would cover travel expenses and provide a DVD of the finished programme after it has aired. We look forward to hearing from you. Guest John Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 no it isn't they wanted my all white but weren't prepared to cover my costs. eg taxing of the car as she is sorned, or trailor hire , days travelling,nite in hotel, days filming,nite in hotel ,then a days travel home. i would have lost 3 days work for 1 nite in hotel & petol costs. would have loved to have had her in the pogramme but they are getting serious money for making these programmes its us nutters that do it for nowt make it easy for them like car show organisers that want to charge us entrance for taking our cars so there is a show!! dont think so. any how dunno how went as they never returned my email when i asked to cover my costs shame like Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
