Guest danleb
Hi Ginger Boy, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, yes that is the one I am after. Also, now we have had a few days of rain I have seen how leaky this roof is, apologies if there is a topic on here already covering this but are there any step by step guides available to trouble shooting leaky roofs? It appears mine leaks at the front on both left and right hand sides as well as a bit at the back. I am no expert but the roof looks in pretty good nick except for the seal so am hoping the answer isnt just to replace. . . Grateful for any help offered. Guest danleb
Whilst I am thinking about it, some more questions/requests for advice... I am trying to get the Cab I recently bought into a half decent condition with a very limited budget. Interior I am pretty much sorted and have sourced some decent new bits including some tidy door cards, new steering wheel, gear knob, and front seats. The rear seats are fine so wont be replacing. Dash is all good apart from a couple of screw holes from a cup holder someone in its previous life decided to install. What I have problems with are the roof (As above posts) and the bodywork. I have done a bit of respraying in my time but mostly of individual body panels and damage repairs. I am fairly confident in doing so to be honest but I have never prep'd a full car. I also intend on doing the respray myself, dont have a garage so my first challenge is to find one locally i can use for a few days which shouldnt be a problem. I am really after advice from anyone who has attempted this themselves, any advice and any hints/tips or warnings before I take the plunge! I would appreciate any pearls of wisdom!
