I'm writing a feature for Car-Nation, on the pros and pitfalls of buying a convertible. I'm an Escort Cabby owner myself, and love the thing to pieces! I would love some comments from fellow convertible owners on why you bought yours, what you love about it, things for those thinking of buying one to look out for, and any potential problems. Also, I'm interested in thoughts on the price of 2nd hand convertibles - do they go up in Summer? When is the best time to buy? Also - how often do you drive with the roof down?!
