Guest El87cabi
Hi all, Just thought i'd say Happy Christmas to one and all plus explain my absence over the last couple of months. As anyone who was following my restoration project remembers, i've been having issues getting my cabi to run right after my throttle body switch so now due to weather, a shortage in spare cash, having my mum over for Christmas coupled with the impending sale of my home i've had to put all my car tinkering on hold until the new year at the earliest On the upside, there is a plan of action when i finally get back under the bonnet, which goes along the lines of volt? testing all the sensors (new and old) to make sure they are operating as they should, all plug/sensor connections to make sure they're making them well and if that fails i guess i'll look at the loom, i'm guessing the fault is either my new ISCV or the old TPS sensor, time n testing will tell though. I still literally have a shed load plus of mk4 parts to sell/give away as if the house goes i have little option but to reduce my spares and other bits i had no need of but didn't want to scrap. Hopefully i'll have be able to be more active in the new year, i am checking my emails if anyone wants to contact me. I think that's about it really, i wish everyone a Happy Christmas and good wishes for the coming new year. All the best, elliott
