It meets OK on the one side but the other side is too far away for the roof hook to locate in the screen. I know it should be simple, but how do i do it! Any help will be appreciated. Guest corrie Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 yer as gingerman said there is a little grub screw to loosen where the hook screws in then wind the hook in towards the roof and check tightness and if happy retighten the grub screw. like he said it is really simple a 30 second job. My difficulty is that the frame will not go near enough to the screen for the hook to engage with really forcing it. When I bought the car one of the hooks was broken so the previous owner had the same problem.Its OK on the one side but the other side is over an inch away and it looks as if the hood and frame are too short.
