Guest biglad Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 hi all in need of some Help my 1990 cabby won't start got spark on all plugs but plugs are dry got fuel but just turns over i was told it might be the ecu which i got but still the same if i spray carb cleaner it will start till it has burn it out could it be the injectors are knackerd PLEASE HELP I HAD THE CAR 2 YEARS NOW AND THE MISS SAID IVE GOT 2 WEEK TO GET IT STARTED OTHERWISE ITS GOING TO THE SCRAP YARD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had an issue with mine not starting and turned out to be the bit that connects the pump and sender, as sill had split. Guest gavintwopies Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 If you have spark but no fuel i would say the injectors are not firing check that the black wire going to all the injectors is 12v live as this supply is given to not only them but all the other engine sensors as the ecu only earths the injectors but the coil runs off its own live supply so this is why you can have a spark but no fuel could be summit a simple as a fuse or broken supply wire to all the sensors, inform her in doors great things only come through trials and tribulations.
