Guest tonkerboy23 Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Hi guys i havent been on for a while and have since lost my cabby but i have now aquired a 3i hardtop i no its not the same pmsl thing is got a running fault and hit a brick wall Done full service including fuel filter but at steady rpms around 2500 it lurches as if it has fuel starvation yet is running mega rich giving only 100 miles to half a tank Ideas welcome Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest s6boy1979 Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Get the mixture set up, a decent place will set up it by adjusting the mixture adjuster which a little black thing on the inner wing just in front of the battery also they should adjust the fuel pressure regulator which on the end of the fuel rail. Should only cost about £20. If that does not work then look at replacing the ecu, map sensor as if these are not working they they will course fuelling issues Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
