New Fusebox?

Hi

My 93 XR3i Cabby has been intermittently giving me problems, but now the fan, indicators and wipers have all gone at the same time. After a bit of investigation online, I gather that there was a problem with the original fuseboxes and Ford has recalled the XR3i's to replace them. However, it looks like the one I have is the original fusebox and I guess I will need to replace it.

Is anyone in the process of breaking a 93 MK5 with a fusebox part no. 91AG14A073BBD they'd be willing the sell - don't really want to pay Ford over £300 since I only paid £500 for the car in the first place! Also, if anyone possibly has images of how to remove the thing in the first place? I have got pretty much everything out from the front, but it's just hanging there now and I don't know how to disconnect from the back.

Also, if anyone has a fuse diagram as well, it would be really appreciated as I'm not sure what should be going where and whether it's 100% right anyway.

Thanks everyone for help in advance

Allan

Thanks for that. I have taken my fusebox out today, but it looks like new, no visible signs of any damage. I take it you opened yours up completely, unsoldering or breaking the holding pins around the edge so that it all lays flat. Was that where most of your damage was? I'm thinking that can be the only place now that there is damage as I can't see anything otherwise.

I've got about a week off work from Thursday so I guess I'll be spending my time soldering ...

Cheers

Allan
