the spots were in ok condition but had pitting on the inside and the brakets were quite bad, i took the brackets of sanded them down and resprayed them, they look like new!!

i was so pleased with them that i though thought i'd give the lights a go, i took a stanley blade around the glass to get the lense off and all went well i sanded down the interior of the light and everything was going fine, my local auto spares was all out of chrome paint so i though a nice shiney silver would work.....

 

....it didn't it looks really flat and when i put the glass back on it's even worse!! and to top it all off when i went to glue the glass back on they only had white adhesive not clear so you see the glue through the lense!!

 

needless to say i am now on the look out for either a company that will refurb the lights professionally or some spotlights in really good nick as i've ruined these ones!! oh well lesson learnt i suppose!!! :rolleyes:
