Hi guys new to the forum thought I would post some phtos of my cab see what everyone thinks

owned since 2003 but has been used on and off in that time due t family commitments/ divorce / new family comitments lol

back in use as nice days only car garaged most of the time

started out as a 1.6i then previous owner fitted the rs turbo skirts and bonnet and cosworth illusion bumpers

rs turbo engine escort gti wheels in white (pain in the arse to keep clean)

had droped it on the floor with a huge cut to spring lengths

had blue sparco bucket seas and modded rear spaker mounts to fit 6x9 speakers

since I bought it have removed the sparco bucket seats and fitted a set of standard xr3i seats to match rest of the trim

replaced the shocks (which were shot) and springs with a g max set 25/40mm drop cannot remember which one

removed the rs turbo engine and fitted a zetec 2.0l on bike carbs and megajolt with ashley 4 branch manifold mated up to the exhaust that was on the car (approx 4 inch and a bit to loud)will get round to changing it a some point it putting out about 175 bhp according to the rolling road

had the wheels powder coated silver

things still to do have a half leather set of rear seats and recaro fronts to fit after they have been re trimmed (nt sure wether to do them to original colour and spec or maybe do them different colour/stlye

exhaust as mentioned above

undecided if I should keep the body kit it has fitted or go for something a bit more normal rs turbo bumpers

replace rear speaker mounts for original set so I can put daughters child seat in the back although that is a problem in itself as the seat is ment to be fixed by 3 point belt not just a lap belt (any suggestions here greatly recived )

well here are the photos let me know what you think good or bad

Rob the isofix anchors from a newer ford and bolt them in the back where the existing selt belt bolts are.

Also have seen them fit the isofix anchors in the front to a recaro. Each side goes between the side bolsters and centre section of the seat down to underneath the rear mounting points.

There are company's appearing that do these conversions as its something thats in demand. I would do it yourself as there really isn't much work involved.

hi yeh would love to go to the shows on club stand but never really thought the car was good enough used to do all the morris minor shows in a heavly modded pick up but found that it was not the done thing except with a small number

she goes quite well but is mild mannered in town too

I will look into the seat thingy now to find an new enough ford in the local scrappy lol not sure how easy that will be up here lol
