Guest s11pyk
i had this on my mk4 efi when i got it. just unscrew the sender from the front of the block and replace it with a new one. they are vehicle specific, think mines blue? but the sellers on ebay are pretty clued up. only cost about £3 delivered too
Guest markeyboy
what mk cab have you got? they do have senders, usually around the thermostat area to test that the gaude is ok you need to short out the connection sender end, on a mk4 it is a short from the sender connection to earth (somwhere on engine will do) om a mk6 you need to short out the connections. doing this should give max heat on the gauge.. if it does it proves out the gauge, and sugests a sender fault
