Guest jasseb Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 Hi thanks for looking, ive got a mk4 with elec roof all works when tested motor spins rams work switch working ok but there is one thing i think is broken its a sliver relay or resistor, not sure which it is ist got two prongs says wagner 20a 12v on it been to local shops and nothing wondering if any one knew where to get one ?? thanks in advance cheers jk Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest s6boy1979 Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 Hi mate This is the thermal cut, but good luck with trying to find a new as i have been look for months. Try replacing it with a 20amp fuse just to make sure it is that, that is broken, but if the motor is working as making a noise it is not the cut out. Check the fluid level, the bypass valve is close, none of the rams are leaking, or even the cog in the motor as these tend to break but the good news is if it is the cog in the motor you can buy one from here.
