mickyfin32 Posted May 5, 2010 Share Posted May 5, 2010 hi i have a mk4 efi cab right problem is/are my passenger side wing mirror glass is boiling hot driverside cold but not working properly making noise but mirror not moving...noticed it today didnt think they were heated my front heater screen button light was on but i changed a fuse and it went out for 10 minutes checked fuse fine...??? my boot interior light not working and lol which or what wires are for the rear heated screen how do i find them and what colors are they i have an idea here's a picture of wires i found at back Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Lee81 Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 All the electric mirrors are heated. Though they shouldn't get much more than luke warm. Might have a short or other fault. Heated screen should stay on until the screen gets to a certain temp then it will go off. Once at this temp I can't turn mine back on for 2-3 mins sometimes longer. Would check the wiring on the boot to see if have live at the trigger switch and light first. Those wires you show are probably the power supply to the boot light so that may be your problem. Rear screen main supply is Black/Brown in colour. The other goes to earth. According to the hanynes manual. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
