hiya,

my mk4 cabby, in original colour, oatmeal gold, factory paint code only ran for six months, still trying to find out why but been told it could have just been a run off paint edition, i now have the original wheels which as soon as they are finished refurb will go back on and the hood should be an oatmeal colour too which i'll do end of the summer budget permitting of course! lol

car is called Digger, cos it's gold and nicks all my money!!

let me know what ya think!

Aaaah

Looks very very similar colour on my screen

yeah looks that similar in colour i nearly had the bottom half painted grey as i thought thats what it was too until i spoke to the original owner. i tracked them down vis the DVLA and she told me all about the car when she first bought it in 1990. she is sending me all the service history and mots, photos, brochures etc from when she had it. i'll only have one or two missing MOT's and bits from when it was new then!

I drive a gold/grey ltd edition and the gold in the original brochure as "INCA GOLD". This is actually later called "oatmeal" so I think they are the same colour. The gold took me ages to source aswell as a lot of people told me go for Champagne which is way off. Nice wheels mate.
