Wireing Looms

hi can anyone help me my cab is an efi ive just built an mfi turbo engine can i cut the looms up at the fuse box and just take out the efi ecu as im not to good at the wireing looms side of things or shall i fit the whole loom and just cut it under the back seat to join up rear lights and feul pump please help many thanks darren

If it was me doing it Daz, i would either fit the correct loom the whole way through, or join it under the back seat area as you said. Ive done a few and find it easier and quicker just to take out the old loom and put the correct one in.

i agree with lee and tony it is better to fit the correct loom i have had a couple of problems as my loom was cut and joined at the drivers door area

and i dont no much at all about electrics but from propbs i have had i would defo have put in the correct loom m8

you dont want to go through what i have

fitting the proper loom would be the best option.should you chop and connect you could leave yourself with heaps of problems. as everyone has said fit a full loom and save yourself future hassle! :wink:
