Big Trouble In The Red Shed

Well as some you know i bought another cab blind of ebay at christmas for £285 with the plans of doing it up. After having it on my parents driveway for a couple of months i had to move it to a friends garage where i intended to get it all sorted and have it on the road. Long story short I ran out of time and so it went to a garage and it has been fixed up and has passed its mot with not many problems and its now taxed and insured and running.

 

Here comes the problem

 

Whenever you lock it either by the key or the remote the motor closes the door and then opens it again which seems to be playing havoc with the alarm. So I have the problem of not wanting to drive it to many places as i cant lock it. Also whenever you start it the doors lock and then unlock themselves once and this happens every time you start the car.

 

Does anybody have any suggestions that i can try as ive run out of ideas (not that i had many).

have you tried disconnecting the battery, also just opening the doors with the key, then locking it

 

have you checked all the fuses for the alarm?

Isn't this something to do with the earth's for the motor's ? I would make sure they have good contact. Then try swapping one out to see if it's the motor/solonoid itself.

quick question cos im useless, are the motors earthed through the loom or some other way?
