Guest Hayden Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 Im after someone who knows abit about car electrics who would'nt mind having a look at my Escort, I will of course pay and suply tea/coffee and biscuits!! The problem I have is - I have fitted a new alternator and battery but the battery seem to go flat if its left for a few days? I have wired a switch that cuts the power to most things like the immobliser, radio, int light, etc. Ive also noticed if I have the lights on the battery light is on dim. Ive been told it might be a bad earth somewhere or a problem with one of the conections, or a "small blue wire" of the alternator may need repacing? Anyway I have NO idea about electrics and dont even own a multi meter. Im just hoping someone can spare a bit of time to have a look for me and try and find the problem, PLEASE!! Ive just insured the car and am itching to use it but cant untill I get this problem sorted out :'( Someone PLEASE help!!
