Guest Cabbytech Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 On the Mk 6, cut the blue wire off about 2/3 inches down from the roof switch, isolate the blue wire that was going to the switch, i put mine into a scotch lock and then shrink wrapped it. Then simply connect the blue wire from the switch directly to a good earth point, then you will be able to open and close your roof with the ign on and engine not running or with the engine running..obiously if you want to operate the roof with the engine running, i would strongly advise that you pull over before operating the switch...this cured the problem of the roof not working with the bonus of being able to operate the roof with engine running hope this helps..................
